Agnese Licenziati

I was born in Naples in 2001 and I currently live in New York. I graduated at the Accademia Internazionale di Teatro in Rome. I attended the BFA Drama Program at The New School in New York for one year, and I also took part in two Summer Programs at the Juilliard School, in Drama and Musical Theatre.

Alongside my acting training, I have a solid background in classical ballet, contemporary, modern/jazz, and hip hop. I practice yoga, Pilates, and skiing, and I sing (light soprano).

In theatre, I have worked on both classical and contemporary repertoire: I played Cecily Cardew in Ernest from “The Importance of Being Earnest” by Oscar Wilde, Mrs. Smith in “The Bald Soprano” by Eugène Ionesco, Ophelia in an adaptation of “Hamlet” by William Shakespeare, and Rosaura in “La finta ammalata” by Carlo Goldoni. In 2024, I made my debut at the Tordinona Theatre with “Escape Room” by Collettivo AccaVentiquattro, presented at the Roma Comic Off festival.

On screen, I was the lead of an episode in the third season of Mina Settembre (2024). I also shot several student short films, I did a commercial for the window company Di Nusco, and I took part in  the off-Broadway musical “We Are The Tigers,” produced in collaboration with The New School.

I speak Italian, English with an American accent (IELTS C2), fluent Spanish, and French (B2 – EsaBac), and I can perform in both Neapolitan and Roman dialects.

Alongside my artistic career, I am involved in volunteer work with Itaca and previously with Oxfam association.

 I am a very active and persevering person, always looking for new challenges. I consider myself highly professional and dedicated, accustomed to hard work and strongly motivated.
