Aguibou Ba

I grew up between France and Brazil, where I lived from the age of six to twelve in Brasília, attending the French international school. This long-term immersion allowed me to become fluent in Brazilian Portuguese, but above all to absorb a culture that is deeply expressive, physical and emotional.

I later continued my education in Luxembourg at the European School, an exceptionally multicultural environment bringing together several thousand students from all European sections. This experience strengthened my adaptability, my listening skills and my nuanced understanding of cultural differences, while also developing strong interpersonal ease. Being confronted daily with multiple identities taught me to observe and analyze a wide range of human behaviors.

After a period in Belgium, I moved to London to study theatre. This stage marked a decisive turning point in my career. London exposed me to an Anglo-Saxon approach to acting, through which I developed a rigorous work ethic and a demanding relationship with text and character.

Upon returning to Paris, I trained at the Jack Waltzer Acting Studio, whose pedagogy, rooted in the legacy of the Actors Studio and Lee Strasberg, profoundly shaped my approach to acting.

Today, my international background allows me to take on a wide variety of roles, often at the crossroads of cultures. My ambition is to continue evolving within demanding artistic environments, both in France and internationally, and to place my singular journey at the service of authentic and fully embodied characters.
