Andrea Stefancikova

Andrea Stefancikova is a Slovak-Canadian actress and filmmaker. In 2019, she received the prestigious "Star to Watch Award" at Whistler Film Festival for her performance in Promiseland. Andrea is best known for her notable roles in several multi-award-winning films, including American Badger, Below Her Mouth, Unmasked, Dark Harvest, then NBC's sci-fi series Debris and the CW's crime-comedy Wild Cards. In 2023, Andrea made a debut in her native Slovak language, joining the cast of the popular Slovak crime-comedy series, Výnimocná Nikol (Excellent Nikol), an adaptation of the French-Belgian show HPI: Haut Potentiel Intellectuel (2021). Born in Bratislava, then part of communist Czechoslovakia, Andrea's creative journey began at an early age, with her passion for dance, piano, writing, painting and singing. She immigrated to North America with her family in 1998, and after training in her early twenties, she began acting. Though a former model, Andrea committed fully to her acting career in 2011. Since then, she has built an impressive body of work, making a name for herself in both indie films and television. Fluent in English, Slovak, Italian, and Czech, with a strong command of various accents, Andrea's frequent use of Russian on screen highlights her linguistic versatility and enhances her broad acting range. After casting the feature film Get Fast, Andrea has also gained recognition for her work as a casting director. With her unique combination of acting talent, multilingual skills, and natural casting ability, Andrea has become a sought-after presence in the entertainment world.
