Axel Steinmüller

Axel Steinmüller, born in Heidelberg, son of a German-Italian family. While receiving a singing scholarship from the Berlin Music School from 1990-1992, he also worked as a lighting technician and member of the movement choir of the Deutsche Oper Berlin. During this time, he made his stage debut in the ragtime opera ‘Treemonisha’ at the Schwetzinger Schlossfestspiele. This was followed by a degree in theatre studies, which he completed in 1996. At the same time, he continued to pursue his career as an actor. He then deepened his training at the well-known Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York and returned to Germany in 1998 on the basis of a contract with an acting agency. Since then he has appeared as an actor in numerous theatre and TV productions in Germany and Europe. He also works as a presenter for trade fairs and image films, as well as an author and director.
