Diana Dell'Erba

Born in 1982, I study different methods of acting: actors-studio, theatrical biomechanics, dubbing, finding my master in Mamadou Dioume (Peter Brook’s actor). I support the training to participation in several movie and short films: The Tulse Luper Suitcases II by Peter Greenaway, Vincere by Marco Bellocchio (2009), Rasputin by Louis Nero (2010), The Mistery of Dante by Louis Nero (2014), The Broken Key by Louis Nero (2017), L’uomo che disegnò Dio by Franco Nero (2021) and many theatrical play, among La Tempesta di Shakespeare by Mamadou Dioume (2014). I understand that the actor’s work should be an avenue of Research, a wake up of consciousness. In 2013 I signed Women directors, talking on a blade, documentary-film about the pioneer Elvira Notari, played by Maria De Medeiros, and about the cinema signed by women (with the major Italian women directors: Lina Wertmüller, Cecilia Mangini Francesca Archibugi, Francesca Comencini, Wilma Labate, Cinzia Th Torrini, Giada Colagrande and film critic Gian Luigi Rondi.)
In the many sets that I am lucky to embrace, I work with directors such as Peter Greenaway, Marco Bellocchio, Franco Nero, Louis Nero, Laura Luchetti and I play alongside big actors such as the Oscar winner F Murray Abraham, Geraldine Chaplin, Rutger Hauer, William Baldwin, Franco Nero and Christopher Lambert, Maria de Medeiros and Kevin Spacey and Kabir Bedi.
In 2023 I signed my first fiction direction: Beata Beatrix, a short movie between pictorial art and cinema in which I play Elizabeth Siddal, inspiring muse of Dante Gabriel Rossetti, exponent of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood.
