Emanuele Gabrieli

I trained as an actor from 2010 to 2012 at Teatro Azione, directed by Cristiano Censi and Isabella Del Bianco. My education was further enriched through seminars and workshops with artists such as Fausto Paravidino, Filippo Gili, Valentino Villa, and Paolo Zuccari, shaping an approach focused on both expressive research and character development.

Since 2006, I have collaborated with Teambuilding.it as a team builder and presenter, refining my communication and performance skills within corporate contexts. In film, I starred in CUT, selected in competition at the RIFF in 2013, while maintaining an intense theatrical career. I have appeared in web series, television dramas, and short films, though theatre remains my primary focus. My stage work includes I Giganti della montagna, L’Orestea directed by Paolo Zuccari, Dignità autonome di prostituzione, and Spoglia-Toy by Luciano Melchionna.

Alongside acting, I worked for three years as an assistant director, collaborating, among others, with Paolo Sorrentino. This experience deepened my understanding of cinematic language and actor direction from a directorial perspective.

In 2015, together with Ambra Quaranta, Giovanni Bonacci, and Matteo Quinzi, I founded a working group that, with the support of Compagnia LABit, produced Cerimonia d’addio and 11.37, significant projects of theatrical research and experimentation.

My teaching career began as an assistant to Marika Murri and has developed steadily over time. Since 2016, I have been teaching at Teatro Azione, leading my own courses, while also working at the Chiodostorto school. My focus is actor training, fostering stage awareness, body and voice work, and communication skills.

I am currently deepening my study of the Meisner Technique, training at the Meisner Institute in Los Angeles and in Rome with Giorgia Sinicorni, a direct student of Tom Radcliffe.
