Gabriele Stella

I was born in Ancona in 1991 and graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome, where I learned that technique without soul is mere form, but soul without technique is just impulse.
Since then, I’ve been constantly searching for the meeting point between the two.

I work as an actor for film, television, and theatre.
 In recent years, I’ve taken part in The Iris Affair (Sky/Wildside, directed by Terry McDonough and Sarah O’Gorman), Balene (RAI, directed by Alessandro Casale), Alex Bravo (Mediaset, directed by Beniamino Catena), and the feature film Fuori la verità by Davide Minnella, produced by Italian International Film.
On the big screen, I’ve worked with directors such as Riccardo Milani, Letizia Lamartire, Domenico Croce, and Lorenzo D’Amico de Carvalho, portraying characters that range from dramatic to deeply introspective and visionary.

Theatre remains my root.
 I’ve performed in both classical and contemporary works — from Shakespeare to Simon Stephens — on stages such as Rome’s Off/Off Theatre, where I discovered the sacred value of being on stage: that space where the actor and the human being become one.
