Gian Luca Vega discovered his first great love at the tender age of six: the theatre. While other kids were busy playing soccer or learning the recorder, he was irresistibly drawn to the stage – and that hasn’t changed to this day. Early on, he presented his small and big dramas in showcases – in front of real audiences (yes, real people!).
Offstage, he dove deep into the world of cinema as a child, reenacting entire scenes with his imaginary friends – Oscar-worthy, though sadly without any witnesses. Instead of cartoons, he preferred documentaries about renowned directors and was fascinated by how they brought their stories to life on the big screen. His childhood bedroom became his film studio: Lego bricks as sets and aluminum foil figures – lovingly called his “Early Stars” – as actors.
At the age of 15, Gian Luca left his family home and began shaping his own life – a little improvised, but full of heart. Years later, he ran into his former acting teacher, who rekindled the spark with a single sentence: “Why did you ever stop?”
Since 2021, Gian Luca has fully dedicated himself to acting once again. He has since worked on national and international projects in fictional formats for film and television – with passion, depth, and an unstoppable drive to bring stories to life.
He doesn’t just play roles – he lives them. And it all began with a bit of Lego and a whole lot of imagination.
