About me

James David Blundell is a British actor and director based in Rome, recognised for playing intelligent and morally complex characters with a grounded, cinematic intensity. He stars in the 2025 feature Proxy Me, with recent credits including Luca Guadagnino’s Queer and Florian Gallenberger’s A Perfect Match.

Classically trained at the University of Kent and the Moscow Art Theatre, James began in theatre before transitioning into international film and voice work. He also directs performance-based adaptations, notably Spoon River (2024), now under review with international publishers, and the recent Antony & Cleopatra: A Memory in Ruins.
