About me

My name is Maria Elena Amidei, even though my stage name is Helen Dei, and I am a 22 years old non-binary actor. I am from Modena, Italy, but these last few years I have also lived in Rome and in New York City, where I studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. As far as my acting technique is concerned, I draw inspiration from the method, my own imagination and also my esoteric and spiritual beliefs. Lastly, I would describe myself as a visionary, therefore climate change, human rights and the lgbtq+ community are very important themes to me.
