Michelangelo Placido

Hello!

My name is Michelangelo, I'm Italian, I was born and raised in Rome for most of my life in exception of a few years in London during my childhood.

I always attended English schools between Rome and London. I've had some acting experiences before and during my adolescence with my father, he is an actor and director.

I had an experience playing a role at the age of 17 for a Rai Television Series called “I Liceali” in 2008.

In 2020 I started working as an actor for the Italian Theatre in a 2-year tour, playing the role of Flaminio in "La Bottega del Caffè" by Carlo Goldoni . It was produced by the Rossetti Theatre (Teatro Stabile del Friuli Venezia Giulia) and Teatro La Pergola of Firenze, directed by Paolo Valerio.

In 2022 I had the opportunity to participate in the film “Caravaggio’s Shadow" ("L’ombra di Caravaggio", released in Italian theaters in 2022)playing the part of Ranuccio Tomassoni's brother.

In 2024 I played the character of Fausto Pirandello in the film “Eterno Visionario” (released in Italian cinemas in November 2024, Rai Cinema and Goldenart Production), a film which portrays the life of the Nobel-prized writer Luigi Pirandello.
