PierGiuseppe Di Tanno

Born in 1983 in Abruzzo, he graduated from the National Academy of Dramatic Arts “Silvio d’Amico”. He has worked in theatre, in Italy and abroad, alongside Roberto Latini, Davide Iodice, Industria Indipendente, Paolo Magelli, Giancarlo Sepe, and many other directors. He also studies dance, through encounters with masters such as Constanza Macras (École des Maîtres), Gabriela Carrizo, and Jan Lauwers. As a movement stage trainer, he collaborates with various companies in Europe, Turkey and India. He has created site-specific performances hosted in Italy and Scotland. His encounter with Masaki Iwana and Butō dance revolutionized his stage language. He won the 2018 UBU Award for Best Actor-Performer Under 35. He also works on television projects: he is part of the cast of the TV series "Romulus," created by Matteo Rovere. In recent years, his relationship with the fashion world has become intense: he has modeled for the Magliano brand for several seasons, being the face of its iconic photo campaign, and was one of the protagonists of "Maglianic," a short film directed by Thomas Hardiman. He has recently worked on film projects directed by Tommaso Ottomano and Bertand Mandico, with whom he just filmes "Roma Elastica," the french filmmaker's next film starring Marion Cotillard. This year, he published "Malincòmio” : his first collection of poems, which in theater becomes a performative action, through a dramatic format conceived for the stage.
