Remo Vinzens

Remo Vinzens, born on December 22, 1975, in East Switzerland, began his acting career at 20, studying in Cologne and Zurich. During his training, he explored various acting techniques and developed his own style. His breakthrough came with Brecht's Señora Carrar's Rifles, marking his debut on stage and screen, followed by TV commercials and short films.

In 2003, Remo trained "on camera" with Oscar-nominated Klaus Maria Brandauer at the International Film School in Cologne and joined the Brandauer Ingenuus Ensemble. He performed in O'Neill's Long Day's Journey Into Night and showcased his singing talent in the comedy Three Gentlemen in Germany.

In 2005, he co-founded Star Class Theatre Productions with Talent Management Star Class and became a member of the Swiss Stage Artist's Association. He starred in the independent film Pentagramm and wrote his first audio script, Integration, performing twelve dialects. He co-produced and starred in Death of a Salesman, The Inmate (2006, 2010), and An Evening With... (2010).

His role as Happy Loman brought him attention in Hollywood. In 2008, he was in talks for a role in Angels & Demons, and in 2009, Clint Eastwood showed interest in casting him for Invictus, though the role went to Matt Damon. In 2012, he co-founded the Swiss Acting Institute and staged productions like Shakespeare's Best (2013) and Chekhov's Ivanov (2014).

In 2019, Remo worked on the film Free Trip to Egypt, which premiered in New York. The pandemic paused his projects from 2020 to 2022. In 2023/24, he is set to perform in Gogol's The Government Inspector, Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, and Frank and Sam. He will also star in The Curse of the Silver Chain and Michelangelo: The Early Life. Remo splits his time between Europe and the U.S. and lives in Zurich with his wife and three daughters.
