About me

I move between acting, directing and writing — though it all started with training as an opera singer.

From 1995 to 1999 I was part of Vienna's Burgtheater ensemble, and also worked across Vienna's Volkstheater and independent theatre scene, and Graz's Schauspielhaus, with directors including Einar Schleef, Dimiter Gotscheff and Arie Zinger.

From 2001 to 2015 I was in Italy, where I worked on stage a.o. at Teatro Stabile Torino, Teatro Due Parma and  Spoleto Festival, with directors such as Davide Livermore and Lorenzo Fontana. On screen, I've appeared in RAI's multipart Maria José, l'ultima regina (Carlo Lizzani) and the series Fuoriclasse (Riccardo Donna), in Mediaset's Le stagioni del cuore (Antonello Grimaldi), as well as in short films selected at festivals in Turin, Rome, Glasgow and Brooklyn.

Since 2015, I've been based in Vienna again. I write, translate (a.o. Elfriede Jelinek), and develop projects mostly through my cultural association Satyrikon — the last one was the short film Odissea in sei sonetti.

Native Italian, fluent German and English, with excellent French and Spanish pronunciation.
