Roberto Sassi

I am an Italian–Panamanian actor, currently in my second year of training at Estudio Corazza para la Actuación in Madrid. Previously, I studied acting for three years in Italy, completed a three-year training in meditation and hypnosis, and earned a degree in Computer Science for Management from the Università di Bologna.

My research begins with a question: how does the human being work, and how can we develop our abilities? This question guides both my work as an actor and my profession as a teacher. For years, I have worked with students and adults on communication, attention management, innovative thinking, and soft skills.

As an actor, I seek truth. I study the context, the story, and especially the character’s past to build concrete and organic foundations. Then I put everything into action: the body is what generates authentic responses. I work through three constant questions: what do I feel, what do I want, what do I need. I am drawn to meaningful stories that explore human complexity.

I practiced boxing at a competitive level for four years, and later taught it. This experience deeply shaped my relationship with discipline, presence, and body awareness.

I am currently working on a project for high schools focused on developing soft skills in both students and teachers. From this experience, I am gathering material for a future theatrical creation.
