In 2008, Sophie Picciotto returned to acting. Her meeting with Philippe Leguay and Fabrice Lucchini on the set of "Les Femmes du 6ème étage" was to be decisive. Sophie played in many films, such as "Elle s’appelait Sarah", "Alyah" and more recently in "Noces d’or" for Arte. Sophie also played in the theatre, and co-wrote her first play "22 v’là les filles" with Sandra Colombo, which they performed in 2010 at the Théâtre Montorgueil. The next one "Tout le monde peut se tromper" was nominated for the 2014 Prix Auteur de la Fondation Bajen. Sophie then trained in screenwriting, and co-wrote several series including a literary adaptation. Sophie wrote and directed her first short film "Virtual Attraction" selected in many festivals in the United States, India, Japan, etc. Then, committed to supporting women who suffer violence, Sophie directed in 2019, a spot "Tous les trois jours" which denounces domestic violence. Then, she co-directed two other short films "Dans L'Ombre" and L'Interdit" which will have many selections and awards around the world.
