Tom Baldauf

I was born in Riedlingen on the Danube, but my early childhood was anything but settled. Berlin, India, and Amsterdam shaped those first years before I returned to Berlin‑Kreuzberg at the age of five and grew up there.

After finishing school, I trained as a graphic designer. In 1995, a European cultural program took me to Italy — a country that became my home for fifteen years. I learned the language, embraced the culture, found musical collaborators, and recorded two albums with pianist Ivano Borgazzi.

In 2010, I moved back to Berlin, where I discovered my passion for acting. From 2015 to 2018, I was part of the ensemble at Theater Naumburg. Today, I work as a freelance artist in Berlin, moving between stage, camera, and music — and Italy remains close to my heart, a place I visit as often as possible.
