Vittorio Oratore

Vittorio Oratore was born and raised in Portici, a small city near Naples, Italy. Unlike many actors, he never imagined pursuing a career in acting. He studied classical subjects in high school and later graduated in Economics with top marks from the University of Naples.

One day, during a break between exams, he passed by the Associazione Culturale Talìa near his home and decided to join an acting class to overcome his fear of public speaking. That experience marked a turning point. A year later, he joined the Centro Teatro Spazio, the historic theatre where the great Massimo Troisi began his career. Acting helped him conquer his anxieties, rediscover himself, and realize it was his true calling.

After earning his degree, Vittorio moved to New York City, where he trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, receiving the prestigious Vincent D’Onofrio Scholarship, which allowed him to study tuition-free. Upon returning to Italy, he continued his training under Barbara Terrinoni and Pierluigi Misasi.

Recently, Vittorio worked on two short films directed by Claudio Vita, a director, acting coach, and author. The first, King of Maya, was written by Vittorio himself — he plays a club promoter who sells a $25,000 table to a doctor. The second is an adaptation of Macbeth (Act I, Scene 7 and the iconic dagger speech), for which he personally curated the Italian translation. He also appeared in Con un filo di voce, a short film starring Giancarlo Giannini, presented out of competition at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival.

Beyond acting, Vittorio is passionate about fitness and healthy living. His routine combines calisthenics and bodybuilding, disciplines he has practiced for over a decade.
